Mentoring / Coaching
EDCO offers an annual mentoring program for new and aspiring special education administrators. The program consists of five two-hour workshops geared toward all aspects of leadership in special education. Taught by veteran special education administrators, the course covers areas of administration not typically addressed in special education administrator degree or licensure programs such as budget development, circuit breaker, and due process.
Coaching is also available for new or aspiring administrators through EDCO’s executive director or associate executive director. Coaching terms are negotiable. Click here for more information on Mentoring and Coaching.
On-site Professional Learning
EDCO also offers on-site professional learning. We have provided workshops for special educators on Transition Services, Team Process, Assessment, Chapter 222, and many other current special education topics. We have also trained paraeducators in areas pertinent to their individual roles.
EDCO leadership will provide comprehensive reviews of your substantially separate programs or your special services department.
